Reaching Out to San Lorenzo Ruiz Home for the Elderly

On December 11, 2025, the LGPI community came together for a heartwarming initiative, our Charity Drive for the Elderly. This meaningful effort was made possible through the generosity of our students, alumni, and instructors, all committed to making a difference in the lives of those who often need it most.

The goal was simple yet profound: to provide support, care, and joy to the residents of San Lorenzo Ruiz Home for the Elderly, a home dedicated to taking care of elderly individuals in need. Many of these residents were once living on the streets, and through the care of this home, they now have a safe and supportive environment. Thanks to the collective effort of our LGPI family, the drive was a wonderful success, touching hearts and creating smiles along the way.

A Community Effort

This charity drive is a perfect example of what can happen when a community comes together with compassion and purpose. By uniting their efforts, students, alumni, and instructors were able to make a real impact.

Every donation, every contribution, and every moment shared helped turn this initiative into something truly meaningful. It’s a reminder that kindness multiplied by many hearts can create real change.

What We Were Able to Provide

The contributions were thoughtfully used to purchase and donate essential items that will directly benefit the elderly residents:

• 3 Winrox
• 2 Winrox
• 6 Zonrox
• 16 Fruitcock Tail
• 5 All-Purpose Cream
• 3 Cakes

These items provided both practical support and a sense of care, sending the message that the residents are remembered and valued.

Visiting San Lorenzo Ruiz Home

The highlight of the drive was visiting San Lorenzo Ruiz Home for the Elderly. Beyond delivering donations, the experience allowed the LGPI community to connect with the residents, share smiles, and spend quality time with them.

Seeing the joy on their faces and hearing their stories, including how many of them were once living on the streets, was a humbling reminder that giving is not only about items, it’s about love, attention, and presence.
